Is the Down Syndrom test mandatory?
I have to go for one in 2 weeks...however, if I find out god forbid that there is a problem---do I really want to know NOW??

Nope its completly optional.
I had it with all 3 and they all came back a-ok

agreed. generally based on age, it's done to be cautious. i'm with you though, i'm not so sure i'd want to know in advance either.
