It was a good time, but I'm tired today. We were up late on Saturday night for a family party, then I was up early yesterday, and then we had friends over after the shower- so I'm pooped. People were very generous and I'm shocked at how many clothes we got. I have to really go through them and see if I even need them all. We still have somethings we need to buy for ourselves, but I guess that's the way it goes. We did get a bunch of Buy Buy Baby gift certificates, but most of our missing items are from Babies R' Us, so if anyone wants to tade GC please let me know.
Jodi, you have nothing at all to worry about from Sam's. As usual, the food was excellent and people were raving about it. The service was great as well, except for a slight mishap. Someone in the kitchen dropped a box on my cake so half of it got smushed. I told them to just cut up the part that was smushed and just display the other half- which is where the writing was anyway. But a really funny thing happned, the cake sort of slid to one side, so the letters got a little jumbled, so instead of reading Showers of Happiness, it read Showers of Ppiness.  Good things I'm having a boy. 
My sister did wind up biying me a gift, but not my stroller- she said it was too expensive (it was only $220.) And she wound up leaving early because she "didn't feel well." Low and behold, she shows up at my house a few hours later (she's my neighbor) with some stupid excuse of needing to borrow tweezers.  The real reason she came over is because she saw all of our friends outside on our deck and wanted to hang out. I hand her the tweezers and was like, "see you later." There was no way she was going to leave my shower "sick" and then come and hang out and drink at my house.

I'm glad the shower went well, overall!
I LOVE that the cake read "Showers of Ppiness" .. that is classic!
I'm glad you got a lot of nice stuff and can use the gift cards to get the other things you need...

BBB doesn't carry the Graco pattern we want- and we still need the swing and travel system.

Inside the square boxes on the tables were duck shaped floating candles. In the yellow boxes that stood up there were duck shaped chocolate chip cookies. The other table that had the things wrapped in yellow tissue paper were prizes for the games. I bought all different blank baby note cards (8 in a box.) I only did 2 games- guess how many jelly beans in the baby bottle, and I had people cut ribbon as big as they thought my belly was. Then while opening presents I set a timer for 5 minutes, whoever's gift I was opening got a prize.

Thanks for sharing!! I love getting ideas - and I love the duck theme! I'm glad you found some games to play!!! Looking forward to seeing more pics!
