Closing Cost - Question
When you close on a house is the first mortgage payment included in your closing costs or is that and additional amount at closing?
Thanks

Re: Closing Cost - Question
When we closed we had to pay 2 weeks up front (part of the closing costs) and then we had a month before our actual monthly payments kicked it.
I think it may be different with each Lender. You should get something called a Truth in Lending Statement from each bank you look at which will give you the total approximate closing costs and what is included.
HTH!
