Anyone else in 1st trimester dragging their a$$ all the time??
I can't take it anymore! I'm 9w2d am SO tired all the time I feel like I'm dragging myself through the day. At work I'm so unmotivated and barely get through what I need to everyday and at home, our apartment looks like a bomb went off. I just don't have energy to do anything and it's so not like me. I've been working on Christmas cards for a week now.
I was just wondering if anyone can sympathesize and can someone give me some encouragement as to when I'll get some energy??

THe joys of the first trimester!! You should get some energy back once you hit your second but then again everyone is different!! Just know you are not alone and it is totally normal!! I wanted to sleep all the time when I was pregnant!!

i Was exactly like that in the 1st trimester, i was ready for bed at 2pm, then I would come home from work and crash between 8:30-10pm.
My house would go weeks without cleaning, my DH would do as much as he could.
I started to my energy back prob at about 13-14 weeks.

i'm nearing my second trimester and all I can say is that it DOES get better! I had days where I literally could not drag myself through the day, and now i'm not back to normal, but I have a TON more energy. hang in there, it passes!

Same exact thing happened to me. Now I am 4 1/2 months, and I have my energy back again. Hang in there

Oh, I could fall asleep at my desk right now! Usually between 2-4 are the worse for me. Sometimes at home I get a little bit of energy. Yesterday, I acually had a cleaning bug, and took advantage of it - maybe it was because I slept a ton on Saturday. But I so hate being at work in the middle of the afternoon. I don't think napping at my desk would go over so well.

i can completely sympathize with you right now......we're pretty much on the same schedule- i'm 10w today....and all i want to do is sleep. its terrible. we had a christmas party at our house on sat and i was shot yesterday all day because of it. christmas shopping has been slowly falling to the wayside- at least you've started your christmas cards, everytime i think about it, i am too tired to even try and write them out. hopefully we'll be in the clear soon enough!!!!!

I'm 9w2d also, and I am dragging myself around all the time. I teach, so there is really no down time for me to take a nap. I am so cranky at the end of the day, and its making me even more emotional because I am so tired on top of all the hormones. I can't wait for 2nd trimester so I can finally get my act together.

i am at 10 weeks and i am also having a very tough time during the day. thats when the nausea kicks in.

I was not tired in the 1st but now in the 2nd I am soooo tired. I can fall asleep anytime anywhere. Safe, huh?

it'll go away Jeannie! I prommise!! I dragged the ENTIRE 1st trimester...no cleaning, barely cooked. (hey...I'm still dragging now!). You do start to feel better in the 2nd trimester thencomes 3rd, when you get tired again but still have bursts of energy.
Ask for help, let some things go, seriously. All I did was laundry and I'd vacuum every other week IF I felt like it. Otherwise, DH did it and still does).
