AF due in 4 days...
and I don't have any signs of it coming but then again my schedule is always a little off.... is it too soon to test??

If it is too early to test, you may get a negative when you are really pregnant. I have wasted so much money on testing too many days too early.
(But I still do it anyway!)

Is 4 days the earliest you can test. I am at CD24 which if I had a normal cycle this month would be 5 days before AF, right?? When should I test?

I would wait a couple more days if you can because the odds of accuracy on those early tests 4 days out aren't that great. Just 2 days more & the accuracy increases by a lot.
I know its hard to wait- unless you have a lot of those test @ home-

ETA- I have waisted a lot of $$$$ on those kits too, testing early
