My sister's boyfriend lives there. The houses are beautiful, the area is really nice and the school district is really good. You are really close to the mall and Old Country Rd. so it's very convenient.

My DH grew up there and my in-laws still live there. It is a very nice area & the school district is good (although my DH & his sisters went to Trinity for HS). We joke all the time with my in-laws about switching homes or buying their home. We would do it in an instant if it were a possibility. They have a very nice expanded split-level.

my husband grew up in East Meadow and his parents still live there. they live in a really nice neighborhood. my MIL also just retired from a grammar school in the EMSD....they are pretty good schools. Don't know about the high schools bc we both went to Holy Trinity. Salisbury is also a nice neighborhood....a friend lives over there and i have a couple of other friends that went to the schools growing up. either place sounds like a good choice!!!

I teach in the district (speech) and think Salisbury is a very nice area! The elementary would probably be Bowling Green and the MS/HS would be Clarke not EMHS/Woodland.

salisbury can be very pricey but it's very nice there.
