Ear Piercing Question?
For those of you who had their daughter's ears pierced...did you have your pediatrician's office do it? Did you go to a jewelery store? Do they do both ears at once?
I'd like to have my 2 year olds ears piereced but am a little skeptical.

I plan on having it done at the pediatrican's office at 3 months old.
I feel more comfortable having it done there, where I know it is clean and I can ask any questions if I have them.

I took Julia to a jewelry store by me that Ive been going to for years so I know the people their. I got her's done at 3 months. They did one ear at a time, and she only cried for a few seconds, she was a good girl!

I'm just nervous being that Delaney is now 2 if they don't do both at the same time, she won't let them do the other year.
I'm still on the fence about it but I'd like info b4 I go ahead and do it.

I'm taking my DD to the jewlery store (my FIL owns it so I trust him!) Plus, I am hoping FIL will "donate" a nice pair of diamond earings for DD

My ped didn't offer ear piercing, he said anywhere would be fine and even said somewhere like Claire's was OK...we wound up doing that on a whim last month, I have to say I was pleasantly surprised...

The only thing I would worry about is your daughter playing with them, and infection. Thats why I got Julia's done so early cause she doesnt know where her ears are yet--lol. I would maybe wait till she is older and can understand more about it, and will know not to touch them. JMO
