Babylon Train Station Parking
Hi All
We both work in Manhattan and we are thinking about buying a house in West Islip. We would take the LIRR from Babylon, but it seems like parking there is a nightmare if you are not a resident. Can anyone give me some insight into the parking situation at the Babylon Station?
TIA

Re: Babylon Train Station Parking
I used to live in WI and paid for a monthly parking ticket at a private lot in Babylon Village, directly across the road from Argyle Park, by the station. There are a couple of lots and I believe the cost depends on how close it is to the station. It used to be $42 or $50 a month four years ago.
Hope that helps.

Re: Babylon Train Station Parking
If you are a VILLAGE of BAbylon resident...then you can park at the lots that are closest to the station...you can get a permit from Town Hall. If you are a TOWN of BAbylon (North Babylon, West Babylon, and other towns) you can park in the Town of Babylon lot....its about a 1/4 of a mile from the train station...down the block from the Hybernia club. Way back when....it was $135 for the year for the permit...not sure what it is now.
