Thirty-ish moms....2nd baby question

If you have one baby and are planning a second, how long are you waiting before having #2.

I'm 35 now and I was planning to wait 3 years but now I'm thinking of starting to try for #2 in the Spring.

I am 34 today and if we have another I will start trying in August of September (will turn 35 that December). The baby will be born a few months before my 36th b-day.

I'm 30, turning 31 in March. Alex was born on 9-24-05 and we plan on trying for another in the summer (shhhhhh... don't tell anyone! )

I am 31 now and Jack just turned 14 months. We have started trying for #2 this month so that they will be about 2 years apart.

I want three so I didn't want to wait too long in between

I'll be 35 at the end of the month. At my OB/GYN checkup last week my doctor said not to wait long at all due to my age and the increased risks during pregnancy.

We still feel like we're just getting used to the whole parenting thing and adjusting to our new life that we're still a little too overwhelmed to try again. But if we do, I guess it'd be in spring...

I was 33 (turning 34 when I had my first child.) I will be 36 or just shy of my 36th birthday when this baby arrives. I'm due the day before my birthday.

i was 33 (turning 34 a month after Jacob was born). We will probably start trying when Jacob turns 1, so next fall....

I had Andrew at 31, and we started trying for our second when he was about 14-15 mo nths, and now baby #2 will arrive when Andrew is 2. So I will be 33 when baby #2 arrives. I didn't want to wait too long because I'm thinking I might want 3, and I don't want to wait too long....

I am 30, Alex will be 9 months next week. Ideally, I would like to have 3 children before I am 36 so we are thinking of trying soon. Sometimes, I get cold feet when I think of trying again so soon. I love my time with Alex and I know things will change but I am afraid if we wait too long he will be an only child.

I was 33 when I had Joseph. I waited one year to get pregnant with Maddie (34). I had her one month after I turned 35.

We wanted them close together (actually closer than they are, but didn't get around to it). I've had friends who went through bouts of infertility & a couple of friends who went through second child infertility, so I wasn't waiting.

I had my first at 31 I am now 32 I am getting married next year and I want to start trying a few months after so I will be 33 or 34 when I start for #2

I had John at 29, 3 months before I turned 30. We plan on ttc for #2 in Fall 2006

i had Sammy when I was 32 Now I am 36 and due with second and last in February they will will be almost 4 years apart

I know I'm not 30, but we said we'd try for #2 when our daughter is out of diapers so they'd be about 2- 2 1/2 years apart

I am 32 and had baby #1 on September 7th. I definitely want three kids and DH would prefer 2, so the compromise was that we would have all three by the time I'm 35 (he's paranoid about age-related conditions, Down's, etc.)!! Ummm...yeah, I don't think so. However, we would like to get started with #2 relatively quickly, so I think we'll try again in late summer/fall.

We plan to start trying when our daughter is about 16 months old. That will be Feb 2007. We want to take a mommy and daddy vacation before #2 arrives.

I was nine days shy of my 31st bday when I had my daughter. She is now 16 months old. We were planning on starting when she is two. I want to have my second before I am 35. We'll see how the cards fall. I work with plenty of women who are having children past the 35 age.

I had my first about 7 1/2 months ago and I was 37 (The delivery room nurses said they thought I was ten years younger than that so that made me feel good.) But, age is just a number. If I have a second, it will have to be soon so my children would be relatively close in age (probably two years apart or less). Ideally, I would have them about two to three years apart.
