What can I get DS for his 1st christmas?
We went to the outlets in Lancaster this weekend and got him clothes. He already has tons of them but we wanted to buy him some cuz we haven't bought him no articles of clothing yet...LOL
So we got him outfits for the holidays and an outfit for his christmas pictures. Then we also got him my first christmas pajamas, a santa hat and a "my first christas" bib and socks from oshkosh. We also got him a "Baby's first christmas" ornament from mikasa. What else can we get him. We want to get him toys but we want to hold off on that cuz we figure the family is going to get him toys.
What else can we get him? The clothes we won't wrap for him cuz he'll be wearing them.

How old is he now? Maybe you could get him one big age appropriate toy, since everyone else will probably get him toys.

I agree. We went way overboard on our 1st son's first Christmas (he was 5 months old). Get him a few books and a toy and he'll be thrilled!

DD will be almost 8 months old for xmas, we aren't going crazy since she really doesn't "get" what's going on yet. We are getting her a couple things to open-maybe 2 small toys, and an outfit to open from Santa on christmas day for pics.
Next year will be a different story!

My son was 1.5 month old last year for his first Christmas. We didn't go crazy at all. We bought an outfit or 2 (I got many toys at my shower) and put money in his education acct.

It will be Michael's 1st Xmas too and he will be 4 months old. We are going to buy him his Xmas outfit and a few other things. We already brought him Baby's 1st Xmas onesie and socks and some toys. Here is what we already brought him.

yeah I don't think we are going crazy for him this year with gifts. We should take advantage of the fact that we don't have to go nuts. Once he gets older it will be a different story.

What big age appropriate toy could I get for him at 6 months old.
If you go on the TRU website - there is a link for ages - scroll through the toys they have listed in there and that should give you the best idea of an age appropriate gifts

I love it! I'm not sure if someone in the family is getting it. I feel funny asking everyone. unless I hold on to the receipt.
