Lazy Day! Do you ever feel guilty
when you just lay around and veg all day. My sciatica was KILLING me yesterday so I pretty much spent the day on the couch. I'm off today and I'm still on the couch but I feel fine. Sometimes I feel guilty, or like I'm wasting a day when I do this. Do you ever feel like this?

Nope! I never feel guilty about it. I'm always on the go, go, go... so when I want to be lazy, I just do it.

I do, but sometimes you just NEED it.
I wish I could lay around all day today. I am in SOOO much pain. But I have a documentary shoot to coordinate...

I never feel guily for having a lazy day. I'm always so busy running here and there, then cleaning the bathroom, putting things away. It never ends! Sometimes you just need to lay around and veg for your own sanity.

I was just thinking the SAME THING to myself.nI just crawled back in my bed after the last post and said, NO WAY, I have to get up.
I feel like I SHOULD be working, or doing SOMETHING at least. I havent taken a shower, I feel like a dirtbag. LOL

LOL! Yup, exactly how I feel, and I don't even feel like showering. I'm just gross. I don't have anything I need to do, but I'm sure there is something I could be doing.

i can't do it, i feel guilty when i sit around for an hour watching tv at night. if i know there is stuff that i should/could be doing i have to get up and do it.

I feel guilty when I lay around and it's a really nice day out, but then I can't think of anything to do so I just stay in bed!

I feel guilty if it's a nice day out or I have lots of other things I should be doing. If the weather's bad or I don't feel good or if I've been very busy/got lots done recently, then I don't feel the least bit guilty.

I am proud of myself. I just cleaned the fridge, scrubbed the kitchen floor, and have one load of laundry in the dryer, and one washing, and it's only 2:30!
I still look like a dirty slob though. I have a pair of my husbands boxers on, my hair in a clip, mascara under my eyes, and a stretched out guinea tee.

Sometimes... especially when it's as nice outside as it is. I feel like I should make the most of the beautiful weather. But if it's a nasty, cold day, I could care less!

Yeah, I often feel guilty - like I should be doing something, going somewhere, etc. - but its important to have those lazy days!

I do feel guilty sometimes. I did yesterday so I got out of the house and got some things we needed from the store and then went to Planting Fields arboretum and walked around for a few hours.
With me, it's my Mom's fault. Always telling me on Saturday or Sunday mornings to get up, stop sleeping the day away, get outside and get some fresh air... That kind of thing.

Nope, do not feel guilty, I'll take a lazy day when I have the house clean and things are done that need to be done, so I won't feel guilty. Yesterday Dh and I spent the entire day relaxing on our couch watching football and we loved every second of it.
