24 week belly pic
My OB yelled at me on Wed, she said i gained 24 lbs so far  . ( I almost fell off the scale) and unfortunately its going everywhere except my belly lol. I tried to make her laugh by saying my boobs weigh at least 5 lbs each but she wasn't amused and said to change my eating habits now! Im gonna be on a strict diet after this baby comes!!! You look great. That's not a lot of weight why would she yell at you. As long as the baby is getting its nutrition you're fine.

Thank you. She said that i should only be gaining 25lbs for my entire pregnancy and if i continue to gain weight like this, (8 lbs alone in past month) i am going to make myself diabetic. I didn't even know it was possible for me to make myself diabetic.

I think you look great. I think its normal to gain between 25 - 35 lbs depending on whether you were thin to begin with or what your body frame is.
My dr also told me to watch my eating since I gained 24 lbs so far at my last checkup at 28 weeks so you're not alone.
I've tried watching what I eat but then I am so hungry and everyone else keeps telling me I look great. And believe me, some of the people are brutelly honest.

I know what you mean, i do the same thing and try to watch what i eat, but I get so hungry and then the holidays haven't helped either.

i cant believe your doctor yelled at you. you look great. thats a normal amount of weight to gain. ive gained over 45 lbs so far and my doctors havent said a word.

I gained 50lbs and my Dr said I did great with weight gain...
I cant believe the Dr yelled at your when you look so fanTabulous!!!
As if being preggo isnt stresful enough!

I think you look great! We all gain weight differently and I think all that matters is that you feel good and your baby is doing well! Weight can always be lost! I know tiny people like me (5 feet) who gained 45 - 50 lbs and lost it all and look great now!

You look great. Do not feel bad about your weight gain, everyone is different. I gained 70lbs with kaylee and my doctor said that everyones body deals with PG differently. You look wonderful and happy.

You look fabulous! I am more concerned about weight gain than my doctor is. She told me that as long as I am eating relatively healthy, that I shouldn't worry about the number of pounds I gain. She said we all gain differently and that sometimes women who normally gain easily, do not do so with pregnancy, and vice versa. She said 35 is the norm.

You and I are about the same in our pregnancies...and I look like you. My dr didnt tell me I was gaining too much weight...in fact she told me that the baby has a growth spurt from 17wks-20somthing weeks, so its normal to gain more than usual at that time.

You look wonderful!! Don't always listen to the doctor....my doctor told me that I gained too much weight also. My total weight gain was 50-55 pounds. You loose most of it in the first month anyway.

Same here. I know I already gained about 23 lbs at 23 weeks, my dr hasn't said a word yet. I think you look wonderful!!

Listen to your doctor!! I didnt in the begining and I ate what I wanted and ended up having preclamsia (high blood presure) in the end of my pregnancy and delivered 2 weeks early. They are telling you this for a reason.

-- On a side note.. You can't "MAKE" yourself become a GD or PE, while preggo. Some peoples bodies handle pregnancies different with EACH pregnancy. I know one person who followed the "baby" diet to a T, even with the assistance of a NUTRITIONIST and still gained 70+lbs. and ended up toxemic--(PE)... I ate nothing but Whoppers..lol.. and gained 12 lbs max with baby #1.. ended up dehydrating a few times towards the end for trying to work 52 hrs a week.. but THATs a risk all dr.s warn you about.. not over doing.
My two cents.. Keep eating.. the baby will tell you when to stop and what to eat.. The happier you are while preggo the happier your baby will be!!!!!!!
