Can anyone recommend a good pediatrician in E. Northport/Huntington area
Hi East Northport/Huntington mommies!
I have to find a pediatrician and you were all so helpful with daycare recommendations that I thought I would ask here!

Huntington Medical Group - Dr. James Cavanaugh.

Make that another vote for Huntington Medical Group - and especially for Dr. Cavanaugh.
They have walk in hours in the am, multiple doctors on call, are open 365 days a year.
I met Dr. Cavanaugh when he was on call on 4th of July & Maddie had to be admitted to the ER for a fever & spinal tap. After she was discharged, he called me every day for a week - sometimes a few times a day to check up on her on his days off. I love the way he talks to my kids & explains to them what he's doing. I can't say enough good things about him. Just meet him - you'll never switch.

Dr. Cavanaugh in the Huntington Medical Group. I love the way he interacts with Roman, and he is so supportive towards me as well

dr kurfist and dr lefendfeld same office located on 25a in huntington. the came highly reccomended by huntington hospital and 100% happy with them. very thourough and call back. also have late hours 2 days a week 12-7 and saturday hours.

Ariella, These drs are at my group.
they are open 7 das a week have late hrs and have Schneider's Children Hspital as their phone coverage after hrs. So the doc that calls you back is a peds ER doc
