Quick Question: How much to give for a Bar Mitzvah?
It's the son of a friend of the family. I was thinking $150 for the two of us but I've never been to a Bar Mitzvah before.

that sounds good, but it's good luck in the jewish faith to give in denominations of 18---it's a lucky number

That's pretty generous - I'd probably go with $120 - that's a good luck number in Hebrew/Jewish religion.
