Stupid thank you card Q...
Katherine had her first "First Birthday" party this past Saturday! Brief version of the story...She won't be 1 until 9/7, but we did a combined "family" 1st b-day with my sister/niece since the babies will be 1 the same week. She'll have her own on 9/9 
Anyhow...how do you word the thank yous? Do you write in the baby's "voice" like so...Thank you so much for the toy; I am going to have so much fun playing with it!" Or in your own voice..."Thanks so much for the toy; it's Katherine's favorite already!"

On my thank you cards I wrote them from the baby...like I wrote, Thank you for the adorable outfit, I can't wait until I am big enough to wear it.
I don't know why I did that, I just felt like the gifts were for the baby, so he should say thanks....its probably a little bit gay, but hey ho!!!

The thank youd I have receieved from others are usually worded from the child.
I havent really had to write any yet but Id word it from Alyssa.

Every thank you card I've ever written has been written in my voice but signed by the family or I ink their hands & use that as a signature.
To my sister I wrote "Thank you for the thousand and one plastic rubber Polly Pockets. I've enjoyed the hours spent picking them up. You've saved me a membership fee for a gym this year."

I usually write them in my voice...
Like - thank you for the new toy you bought Talia - she loves it and plays with it for hours. etc...

I write them in my voice, and sign them from Lisa, Al & Ella.
I've gotten TYs written in the babys voice. Its cute/cutesy - just not my style.
