What do you think of this quote? High, low or just about right?
We have a cape with 2 bedrooms and 1 bath - all in poor condition
We are going to dormer - there will be a master suite with a walk-in closet, master bath on one side and 2 other bedrooms and another bathroom
In the dormer we are updating the electrical (220 amp box) and wiring, getting the house insulated and re-sided and getting a new roof.
We got a variety of quotes for this - the lowest was $65,000 - what do you think???

Does that include EVERYTHING? All the way down to painting or is it just the dormer and labor.
If it includes everything that is a real deal. Labor alone on a job like that could be about 30K.

sounds low-are all of the estimates detailed & did you compare to make sure that one isn't missing something. Sometimes contactors lowball & then expect homeowners to pay a huge amount of "extras" at the end. It isn't always a great idea to go with the lowest price. Good luck with your project, sounds like it will be nice!
