How is LIJ to deliver?
Hi ladies, I'm not pregnant yet, but hope to be shortly after our wedding. My current dr. is affiliated w/ LIJ and I just wanted feedback as to how smooth things went, how comfortable you felt, visiting hours, etc.

I delivered at LIJ - the labor and delivery staff was amazing! So helpful, nice and caring.
The recovery nurses were ok - I think the more attention you need the more you get if that makes sense. Overall I was happy with my experience there and will deliver there again for #2.

I am probably going to deliver there also. My sister delivered there and she was very happy with the experience. I just so happened to be there my self 2 weeks ago, had a little emergency, and they were GREAT!
