Travel & stroller

So we are headed to florida for about a week or so. Should I bring my regular bulky Graco stroller or is it better to go out and buy an inexpensive lightweight stroller to bring with us? What stroller did you travel with?

We have an Peg Perego Aria MT which is very lightweight (but no inexpensive). It was so much easier to have something lightweight than a big bulky stroller. If you dont' need room for lots of storage and such or need him to lay down in the stroller I would go buy a cheap umbrella stroller. It will be a lot less hassle.

Re: Travel & stroller

The first time we went to NY, DH was with me so we took the travel system stroller. It was OK bc we didn't use it much, it was in the trunk of the rental most of the trip.

The next time I came to NY, it was just Nate and me. I bought a Chico C5 and was so happy I did. It was easier to manage since I was by myself. It folds up like an umbrella stroller and is a little cushier than the cheapie ones. It was like $89 at BRU.

I would get a lightweight stroller since you may be doing more tourist like things in FL.

Re: Travel & stroller

I am going to OceanCity MAryland in the middle of July and I didn't want to bring my regualr stroller cuz i t is a big stroller and the umbrella stroller I have doesn't recline and doesn't have storage space so I went to BRU and got this one for $39.99

I have used it already and DD loves it she is comfy and sleeps good in it. Easy to open and close and very light

I agree with Jen - cheap umbrella stroller. Even if you buy it down there & dump it.
