Extra room question?
What would you do with an extra room in your home?
We have a spare bedroom and are unsure what to do with it. We already have a guest room, office/comp room and workout area.
The room is on the main floor of the house near the kitchen and living room.
Right now it just collects junk 
What would you do with it??
ETA: We dont have any kids yet, but in the future it will probably become a play room.

I'm contiplating the same thing...I have Three spare rooms right now...I'm going to make two guest rooms...the other I was thinking of making a reading room...Just putting a big comfy chair and a comfy sofa in there...this Is still up in the air, right now its filled with boxes.

We have an extra bedroom on the first floor. We have a couch in there and a TV. It's supposed to be a TV room but it really is a combination of my storage closet and a junk draw. If we don't know where to put something - it goes in the side room.

That is pretty much what ours is too! If I dont know what to do with it... it goes in the spare room.

What about a den type room? Make your LR the "formal" living room and make the den a place with a comfy sofa, board games, somewhere you can just hang out or sit and read a book and put your feet up and the formal living room always stays neat.
