Update - Did anyone go to the doc in the beginning of their 7th week?
I just called to change my appointment to this weekend, since I got nervous with the hot flashes. I should be 7 weeks and 2 days by then. Will I get an internal and pic and see the heartbeat?
Update:
I'm back. He saw the sac...and said I'm measuring more like 6, 6/12 weeks. He said its too soon to see the heartbeat, but next Thursday should be more telling. No picture for me this time... He didn't point anything out on the screen either.

I went in at 7 weeks and did get a sono, no internal though that time

I just went last night....baby's measuring 7 weeks, 3 days. I had an internal exam, and an internal sono. There wasn't much to see at 7 weeks, and we didn't hear the heartbeat. Oh well, I'm sure it'll be better next time.

I went at exactly 7 weeks. Doc did internal, saw the heartbeat and gave me a picture.

My first appointment I was 7w2d. THe doc did an internal sonogram and I was able to see the heartbeat.

At 7 weeks we saw the heartbeat - we actually HEARD it too which was sooooo great.
A sono is just a sono - for an internal my OBGYN goes in...hands on...and checks things out...speculum and all. Ugh.

I had my appt at 6 weeks 6 days and it was an internal and we got to see the heartbeat and we were given a pic.

I just had my 7 week sono on Tuesday, and we saw the baby's heart beat. My sono picture isn't that great, it's just a gray blip, but it's cute! I go on Sat for an appointment with the doctor.

Went at 5 weeks, 6 days--got internal ultrasound and heard the heartbeat!! So amazing all of that happened in 6 almost 6 weeks! I think you are fine!

I'm sorry he didnt give you a pic  Next time tell him you want one. I dont think they know what a HUGE deal this is to us
Next week you should see much more. My first sono all I saw was a sac, it looked like a little black hole. We started calling the baby "spot" LOL
