Taking a chance by posting this....
Ok, I'm risking jinxing myself by posting this, but I am happy to report that for the past 3 nights Jacob has slept in his CRIB!!! 
I built him a receiving blanket "fort" that surrounds him. I rolled the blankets up and made sort of a oval shape around his body figured maybe he would feel like he was still in the car seat. I also have the postioner in the center and I use the miracle blanket to swaddle him nice and TIGHT. Oh and I also have the wedge that goes under the sheet that elevates him slightly for the Acid Reflux problem.
So far the past three nights I have fed him his last bottle in the glider, then he is usually either asleep or almost asleep where the eyelids are opening and closing. I put him down around 8, he sleeps till 2ish (sometimes he wakes earlier but i go in and put the paci in and rub him a bit and he drifts off again) At 2ish when he starts really crying, i take him out, change him, feed him, back in the crib again and he stays asleep till about 6am.
Oh and i also have a CD playing of instrumental lullabyes (that i played for him in utero) that i put on "repeat" so it plays all night long over and over...
So I am hoping this is a breakthrough and that it will continue. Now if i can just get him in there for his naps and outta the swing.... BUT... BEGGARS CANT BE CHOOSERS AT THIS POINT!!
