Me!! I'm due August 20th. How is everyone feeling? I feel pretty good, but sometimes get a little crampy after I eat. I'm happy that there are so many of you that are due around the same time! We can take the journey together :)

Its weird everyone is getting their first appointment already. My doctor doesn't want to see me till its the 8 wks altogether (6 wks fetal age or something). I feel so behind!!!!

Its weird everyone is getting their first appointment already. My doctor doesn't want to see me till its the 8 wks altogether (6 wks fetal age or something). I feel so behind!!!!
Jennifer, my old gyn was the same way. She wouldn't see you till 8 weeks but I am seeing a specialist and had an IUI done so thats why I got a sono already.

Oops! I prob should have included my due date too - duh! I'm due 8/16 as well LI Native! And seems like the most of us are pretty close too
Wishing all a nice healthy preggie 9 mths!
PS - I had my first sono just on Mon and it was too early to see anything so I can understand why your dr wouldnt want to give one until 8 weeks. I have to go back when I am 8 weeks as well sincwe all we saw was the sac. I was 5 wks 4 days on Mon.

Oooh ok. Well since I will be home in a few days I made an appt with my old OBGYN (since I'm covered under my parents till New Years). I just want to make sure everything is ok, I have had some ovary problems in the past.

There are so many of us that are due at the same time. This is going to be great. As a first time mom, I will love having all of you girls here to support me and go through the same things.
Same here!  I saw my gyno yesterday to confirm and she said no sono til 12 weeks!!! I thought that was really long time and she could tell I was worried bc of the spotting. So she said I can come Jan 5th (8 weeks) for an "early" sono and that the ins. co. should pay for it. But she reassured me the spotting was nothing. It was old, brown blood and was not alot at all. Have you all told anyone yet? We are telling our families at Christmas :)

We told my parents and are announcing it to his side of the family on christmas eve...I am so very excited about it.

I posted this in another topic but we purchased BABY picture frames for both parents. Inside where the pic would be we put a piece of paper with
? Due: 8/23/06
When we are together with the entire family on Christmas eve we are going to have both parents open it. So the rest of our family wil know at the same time!

Mine wont see me either until I am 8 weeks. I feel the same way.

I am due 8/18.
had my first sono on monday, and will have another on 1/5.
our parents know, and we will tell my family on christmas. what a great christmas present we are giving our families! we will not be able to top this gift, that's for sure!!!
