Levittown Cape People
Our friends are fixing up a cape, and right now their washer is in the kitchen and their dryer is in the garage. They want to put them in the upstairs closet. Can you tell me if anyone has done this, and how hard was it to do?

We moved our washer upstairs. We had a plumber connect it for us. It was about $500.

We have an extra room downstairs (besides the 2 BR's) that was made from the extension they added to the house. It's it there.

we put both upstairs..my dad did it and it wasnt difficult. they just had to create a vent out of the side of the house.

They actully mad a closet in the small bedroom next to the bathroom for our washer and dryer. This way they didn't have to move plumbing!

My parents built a closet on the other side of the bathroom. that is where the washer and dryer is. they have an extension just like my house. Scott I went into a house that had the breezway extended like you. Only they filled in where your back door is and made that a "mud room" which had the washer and dryer.
