Cleaning Couch Cushions
How do you clean your couch cushions? Ours are getting some spots on them....Dh has had a few accidents with PB&J sandwiches and the covers do zip off but I'm afraid to wash them. What does everyone do for this? It is a nice couch and I don't want it to get grungy looking.

Re: Cleaning Couch Cushions
the couches I have now were bought at Seigerman's outlet store (when they had one). they were floor samples and had a lof dust and dirt on them. But I bought them anyway since I got an amazing deal (they were $4K couches that I got for $1500!). I hired a steam cleaning company to clean them both and MY GOD they came out gorgeous! I think it cost $150 and worth every penny

Re: Cleaning Couch Cushions
I was going to get the professionally done in my opinion, $100 for the one couch and $80 for the loveseat to be cleaned was a little much for me. I would need them cleaned a lot because of DH and dog!
I have micro fiber couches and I actually use soap and sponge and clean in them in the tub then I leave them out to dry. They come out great

Re: Cleaning Couch Cushions
I use the Bissell Little Green Clean Machine. At home, on the spot use. A small investment and I used to clean my fabric loveseats yearly. They looked and smelled great...and it's remarkable how much "dirt" comes out, especially in the arm areas.
I have gotten many of my friends to use it on their sofas with good results. I use the Hoover steam machine cleaning solution in it. Good luck!
