Our mail hasn't been getting forwarded!
We did the forwarding online with the post office. We recieved emails and notices in the mail, but here we are, almost 3 months later, and nothing is getting forwarded. DH has to stop by the old apartment every week and pick it up. What can we do?

Call the local post office of your old place & ask them if they got the forwarding order.

When we moved we were told that they only forward mail for 2 months and after that it all get returned to the sender

I read three months on something they sent me. We moved in August and are still getting mail fowarded here. It did take a while for the forwarding to kick in, took about a month before stuff started coming, but three months, I think there is something wrong. I would go down to the old post office and do it right there and hand it to them.

Keep calling your old post office. This happened to me a couple of times.

you can always go to the post office and fillout one of those postcards again.....maybe this time it will forward!

I read that they are supposed to forward it for a year (magazines and brochurs are forwarded for like 3 months). I guess I'll call the post office since I'm not around there anymore.
