Flat iron question
If I get my hair blown straight, what is a good flat iron to maintain it? I don't want to spend a lot of $ cause I won't be using it to straighten my hair, just for touch ups. Thanks.

Re: Flat iron question
I would think a 1" ceramic rather than a 2" inch one. Hot tools makes one. At Ulta

I would think a wider plate would work easier if you have very long and thick hair. I think the hot tools ceramic is a good choice if you don't want to spend much $$. I think one of the differences with the better, more $$ ones is they don't snag or pull the hair

Good question. I have always assumed the 1" irons were more for touch ups. It doesn't hold as much hair at once so for a whole head it would take longer. But for bangs and sides of the face, it is supposedly perfect. I have the 2" flat irons, but my aunt has the 1" likes it a lot.

Re: Flat iron question
I have a 3 inch ceramic hot tools one. It is great for thick hair like ours! But if just for touch ups you probably only need the 2 inch.

Re: Flat iron question
I have the 2 inch and 1 inch. I don't like the totally flat look, I am more of a blow out fan. so I blow out, and on the second day when I start curling, I go over my roots with the 1 inch
