Dip, a review
I didn't really like it at all. We had the chili cheese fries (there wasn't any chili, just cheese sauce) the buffalo chicken skewers (just eh) and the milk chocolate fondue. The stuff for the fondue wasn't very good- the brownies tasted like bricks and the rice krispie treast tasted stale. The pineapple, bananas and strawberries were great though, very fresh and ripe. Drinks were weak, and that is coming from someone who smells alcohol and gets drunk.
I didn't think it was worth it and would not go again.
BUT, it was great to see my friend and celebrate her birthday!

Re: Dip, a review
I was not a fan of the dessert fondue at all. But I really liked the cheese fondue.

Re: Dip, a review
I wrote a review on this place back in Feb as well...
If you caught them on a bad day, so did I!
I was not impressed at all!

Re: Dip, a review
Sweet Waters in Happauge still has the best fondue IMHO. I am still hoping to one day try the melting pot . . . .

Re: Dip, a review
I agree-it was just Ok. I was totally unimpressed by Dip. I went to the Melting Pot for the 1st time last month in Maryland and LOVED it!!! Everything was great and very fresh. At first DH didn't like the fact that there was nothing besides fondue to order cause he thought there wouldn't be enough food. But after the cheese course, salad, main course and dessert we were stuffed!!! But the chocolate was soooo good and the drinks were good too!!

Re: Dip, a review
Thanks for the honest review. I have been wanting to go but it sounds like it's overhyped.
