Red Paint Colors
Our kitchen has finally been gutted and sheetrocked and tiled so we are painting this weekend. Our cabinets are going to arrive in about a month.
Our tiles and countertops are beige and are cabinets are going to be oak so I want to paint the walls red but I'm scared to pick the wrong red....I'm looking for Benjamin Moore paint.
Does anyone have any color ideas and pics?

Re: Red Paint Colors
I want a red w/a darker hue to it....I know two ppl. who have red and I one has a pink tone to it and the other has an orange tone to it and I don't like either one.....I guess closer to the burgundy color.

Re: Red Paint Colors
I would go to a store that sells BM and try a few samples, or buy a quart if a color you like doesn't come in a sample (that's what I did).
I've been testing rich chestnut (a dark rusty red) for a while

Re: Red Paint Colors
We just painted our family room red. We selected four of the reds from teh benjamin moore color samples, put them all up and decided they would all look good! I would try the color samples..... They really help.
ETA: I think that we went with Spanish Red.

Re: Red Paint Colors
Our dining room is a real red color. It's Behr, not Benjamin Moore, and I think it was called Licorice Stick.
