Has anyone ever cooked a brisket on a gas grill? If so, how long do you generally cook it for?
I know how to make brisket in the oven and I know that brisket is a slow cooked meat.
I have a small brisket that I want to grill for dinner tomorrow night, but all the recipies I find are for a charcol grill. I know gas will cook it faster.
TIA

I am curious to what your brisket recipe on the grill is like...will the meat still be tender? I am a brisket lover, but usually do them in the slow cooker...
I would just follow the charcoal grill instructions, it shouldn't really make a difference!

I see all these shows on Food Network about Texas BBQ Brisket. Like I said it's a small brisket not quite 2lbs. I usually slow cook it in the oven or on the stove. Food Network does have bbq brisket recipies but again it's on a charcol grill. Perhaps if I wrap in foil and cook it on low heat until it's cooked and then remove it from the foil and put directly on the grill grates for a few minutes that will work.
I have great oven cooked recipies, I love Brisket
