My last meal before my DD suprised us was a big huge CALZONE , so I have no advice about that... but are you thinking its starting? Lots of easy labor vibes to you!

My contractions started consistently at 2am and at 6am I took a shower and 630am I had half a bagel. I knew I wouldn't be eating anything once I got to the hospital. I called my doc at 700am and was at the hospital by 815am.

the day i went into the labor I had chicken selects and fries from mc'd's! But As soon as i knew the cramps were turning into contractions, the kind you notice and you can't talk through, i only ate cereal, toast and jelly, etc. I ate 1/2 a zone bar on the way to the hospital at 4am

I had a quizno sandwich on the way to the hospital. I'm glad I did bc I had a long labor. I got to the hospital at 2:30pm and didn't have Nate until 2:38am. Finally at 4am the nurse gave me a muffin, until breakfast was served.

I was desperate for an egg sandwich (last meal was 7pm dinner). DH told me we were just going to breeze by the hospital to get evaluated and then we were going for egg sandwiches. My water had broken but we both thought they would have to induce that night. Turns out I was 5cm & having strong contractions. When they said "We're going to admit you", I glared at my husband & said, "Um, what about my sandwich!? "

I was convinced when they were so happy that I hadn't had anything to eat, they were going to try to do a c-section. I was in full labor, telling DH "Don't you dare let them cut me!"

For me, I didn't think about food & wasn't really hungry before or after labor - despite not eating for 11 hours. I was just extremely thirsty.

The reason they don't want you to eat has to do with the anesthesia.

I ate a hamburger and fries for dinner that nite and at 10pm my contractions started and I was in the hospital at 1:30 am and I didn't have my DD till 12:39pm so I didn't eat anything since dinner the nite before I wasn't hungry or anything I was just thirsty and drank so much water and ice chips I couldn't think of food. As soon as I knew everything was ok with DD I sent Dh to get me a soda cuz I needed something to drink with taste

I worried about that...I never had time to it happened at 2 am. My last meal awas at 8 and it was a big one.
