Re: Birthday Present for my 6 year old niece?
I have a neice who lives in Florida, and for Christmas we went to build-a-bear and made her a teddy bear. We dressed it up in a princess dress, since she likes all the princess stuff. We also got a few accessories to go with it.
You can dress the teddy bear, or dog, or any other stuffed animal in whatever she likes.
We also did it for another neice who likes hello kitty and she loved it. They had a whole hello kitty line.
They even give you a box to ship it in, if you ask for it.

This is a good diea, or maybe a gift certificate so she cna experience building the bear herself

That is a good idea! I am going out for a visit at the end of August so maybe I could tell her we would go together!

My 6 year old niece loves American Girl and Bratz. She's also into art and crafts. You could get her a gift card to her favorite store.

I think it's under $50, but my niece loves Polly Pockets. They are dolls that have snap on or magnetic clothes - sort of like a 3D paper doll. She also likes the make your own jewelry and knitting things.
the other thing I have that all the kids use when they come over is a Shrinky dink oven. It's sort of like those EZ bake ovens - runs on a light bulb - and has a window where you can see the shrinky dinks shrink. It keeps them busy for hours!
Here's Polly: Image Attachment(s):

Re: Birthday Present for my 6 year old niece?
There are awesome stuffed animals called Webkinz. They come with a serial number, and when you go to their website (which is free for one year) it "comes to life." You have to buy it home items, food, etc. with kinzcash, which you earn by playing games. They are very inexpensive (around $15.00) and you get a subscription to the site for a year when you buy one. I've bought them for several girls her age.....they all LOVE them. Check out the website: webkinz.com Good luck!
