Anyone have any problems ever renting out there homes??
My home in Hilton Head in SC is up for rent for March 1st we are closing Feb.24th so I was wondering how long it took people to rent out any of there places or even if you have an apartment attached to your house was it hard getting a tenant?? Did you advertise on your own or went to a Realtor?? Keep your fingers crossed for me that we get in rented!!

You should look into VRBO.com. I have rented vacation houses through them. You shoudl be good since Hilton Head is a pretty hot vacation area. You can also consider hring a realtor they usually get a percentage of the total rent amt so you'd have to figure that into your asking price
