Anyone know a good tree trimmer in Nassau?
I need some branches cut down that are against our house.

My mom used Cheap Charlies. They were very reasonably priced and did a nice neat job. I don't have their number, I think they are located in Suffolk but work in Nassau too. She found them in the Pennysaver.

I have gotten some really wild quotes.
Quote number 1 was for $900
Number 2 was for $1750
#3 was for $1500.
Crazy..
DH didn't like the guy for $900 cause he seemed dopey. I told him I don't care if he was dopey..
I have about 9 trees to trim to roofline height.
The $1750 guy tried calling me 7 times in the last 4 days and finally got me on the phone and said he though his quote was high and he is negotiable.
Grr....
I have another friend who recommended his guy and we'll see what happens.
I hate this shopping around biz..

We used Joe's Complete Tree Service. I forget where they are located but they came to me in Nassau and were reasonably priced and friendly

is this the guy Jimmy from 967-tree?
he keeps calling me, quoted me $1750 to trim a tree (not even to cut it all down) that is the neighbors that is hanging over my driveway. yesterday he called and said he was negotiable!

I got a quote from him too..nice guys seems professional but was much higher than another guy..the dopey one.
I'm still hooked on the dopey one.

I guess that's his number because I got the same quote. Then he called a ton of times only to tell me that he's negotiable.
He called on a different number the last time, that's when I picked up.

I actually used Jimmy and he did do a good job. He was cheaper than Cheap Charlies.
He was a *bit* aggressive with the calling...I gave his number to a friend and he is calling her constantly too.
