Should I go to the doctor?
I woke up yesterday with such a bad stomach ache. I keep getting sharp pains across my stomach and cramps in my lower back. It comes and goes...then I get very bloated feeling up to my chest and that comes and goes...WTH is wrong with me???

Re: Should I go to the doctor?
Honestly-- it sounds like a bad case of gas. Did you eat anything particularly hard on your stomach? I would get some anti-gas meds and drink a lot of water and see how you feel tomorrow. When you have bad gas- it affects your lower back and in general can make you feel really crappy.

Re: Should I go to the doctor?
It could be kidney stones. Is the pain excrutiating?

It isn't excrutiating..but it comes and goes in waves...and does hurt a lot. I feel a bit better today than yesterday...but I didn't eat or drink anything out of the ordinary. I can't figure this one out.

Re: Should I go to the doctor?
depending on WHERE the pain is, it could be your gallbladder. Mine was on my right side under the ribcage and radiated to my back. I couldn't sit, stand, or lie down I was so friggen uncomfortable.
It felt like REALLY bad gas and it can be triggered by foods higher in fat or greasy. The pain can radiate to your back as well. You might experience nausea, vomitting, chills/fever.
My dad had thought I had food poisoning from bad chinese (I had eaten chinese and some Ben & Jerry's that night).

Re: Should I go to the doctor?
If it feels a little better than yesterday I think I would let it go another day or two. Something serious would probably feel worse instead of better. Maybe you pulled a muscle too? Take it easy the next few days and drink lots of water.

Have you recently had a bowel movement or has it been a while?
