How many ouces of formula is or was your baby drinking at 6 months? THis is with their 3 meals a day

If I remember correctly from my older kids, appx 24 oz. 4 bottles of 6 oz each that eventually went down to 18 oz. after a year.

Dr told me to try and keep her under 20 oz a day but with teething she only wants her bottle....Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Thanks - I just wanted to be sure Sara was getting enough. I am giving her 4 bottles =21 oz a day

Roman takes about 4-5 6oz bottles a day.

If I remember correctly - same here. I think at my 5/6 month visit the dr told me that is what the intake should be. If they fall under 24 give more formula and less solids and if over 32 give less formula and less solids. At this age they said formula should still be primary source of nutrition.

Yup! This is exactly what out Ped said. We had to give up one feeding of rice (AM) as she was not drinking enough formula.
