Preparing table foods...
How does everyone prepare the food? Right on the spot or do you make a big batch of stuff and freeze?
What I am currently doing is every other day or so I will steam a batch of veggies, cook a sweet potato, boil some pasta and put in the fridge. Usually lasts 2 days.
And about 1x a week I will make pancake batter and freeze in individual plastic cups. I put one in the fridge every night so it will be defrosted in the am.
Any suggestions on how to make this process easier?
TIA

I'm mostly on the spot. And he eats mostly what I am eating esp dinner.
I don't make fresh pancakes or waffles or anything like that - frozen works for me.
Veggies - he pretty much eats what I eat for dinner or I open a can/frozen box and that will last a couple days.
If I make pasta - I make enough for a few days.
He eats a lot of leftover meats too.

Re: Preparing table foods...
I never prepare anything special. I always gave what I cooked and then saved leftovers in a small container for the next 2 days lunch.

Re: Preparing table foods...
I don't prepare foods, I just give Julia the foods we eat, and I get her the meatless chicken nuggets and the spinach and broccoli nuggets to and she loves them. I make enough pasta to last a few days also. I give her the Gerber veggies still or I just steam them and save what is not eaten. I make her pancakes and waffles that a frozen each morning. If I make meatballs or burgers, she will eat that to. I like to make her fresh foods, I don't like to give her stuff that has been sitting in the fridge to long (meats).
