Nursery bedding when you don't know the sex of baby?
Does anyone have any that they used? I have a friend that's just starting to look and I'm trying to help her with unisex ideas.
TIA

I used a teddy bear theme. My walls are sage green and pale yellow. The bedding I used is Dream Time Teddy by lambs and ivy - it is on dreamtimebaby.com.

It's a little "modern" looking but check out the sets at DWELL
we plan on using the dots/stripes in chocolate brown- you can mix that with either pink or blue depending upon if it's a boy or girl....

If I wasnt going to find out the sex of the baby, I would prob go with one of these...or a classic pooh theme... Image Attachment(s):

I love that! Danielle..what did you decide to do on the walls? I know we were both looking to do the same thing...sage green and chair rails. Here is the one I finally decided on (same color combo as you!) : Image Attachment(s):

Re: Nursery bedding when you don't know the sex of baby?
Steph - I actually completely changed my mind and just did one color (SW - Morning Sun) and am doing a crown shelf molding higher up on the walls with the border that matches the set. I'll post pics as soon as it's done!
Your bedding is beautiful too!!! How are you feeling?

Re: Nursery bedding when you don't know the sex of baby?
We were between this set and Dream Teddy. We ended up picking "Beary Goodnight" by Boyd's Bears. We ended up finding out the sex so we went more with blues and greens in the room but our "plan" is for this room to be the nursery and not our son's room so we figured neutral was our best bet plus no ultrasound is 100%. Re: Nursery bedding when you don't know the sex of baby?
We chose the John Lennon Real Love line. It's not in stores any more, now it's Musical Parade which has more blue tones in it I think.
This is her nursery while we were still working on it before she got here.
Edited to add: The bumper and skirt are blue in this set, but the rest is yellow. It's hard to see from this angle.

Re: Nursery bedding when you don't know the sex of baby?
I did not know the sex of my baby. When I picked out the furniture I also selected a boy and girl bedding. Behr's ordered both sets for me. All I had to do was pay for the least expensive set in full. When my daughter was born, I went there and picked up the girl bedding and paid the difference (of course, a girl bedding was more expensive LOL)
I know people like to have the nursery completely done before the baby, but since we figured we didn't know the sex, and the baby would be in our room for the first few months, it really didn't matter to us. We painted the room a natural color and just completed it once she was born.
