To me, this is the point I most agree with:
"At a time when we're faced with this terror threat, we should not be surrendering any port to any foreign government, let alone the UAE," said Baltimore, Maryland, Mayor Martin O'Malley, whose city is one of the ports involved in the deal.

I agree with all of you and I voted for Bush in the last election. This whole this is very scary and I don't get it. After living through 9/11 you would think Bush would have more sense than this.

I hate politics and everything to do with it - so I rarely have any opinion on any debate or representative - BUT this -
any person - regardless of their political standing should be worried about where this moron is leading our country - right into enemies hands...

I heard on the news or the radio that Bush and his top people didn't even know about the deal until it was already done. Some secret group (which Rumsfeld was supposedly a member of, but really isn't) that approves almost every deal voted to approve it. Maybe Bush is fully supporting the deal b/c he'd look like a bigger azz if he admitted there were security concerns and he knew nothing about the deal until it was approved.

So, now "People don't need to worry about security" according to Bush?!?!?!?! When it is politically convenient for him, we are at a high alert and when it is not, we don't need to worry. Our ports are not high risk?! Give me a break.
