Re: I lost NOTHING this week!

I know it is so aggravating but I would give it another chance. Maybe your body needs to get used to it?

My dh & I didn't lose a pound this week either but we kind of cheated a bit this weekend.
On the flip- we didn't gain.

Hang in there maybe next weeks weigh in will be more successful.

Re: I lost NOTHING this week!

Really? did you have all of your dairy/fruits/veggies and NOT cheap at all? and your water? and some of us need to exercise too to get our metabolism going too.

I noticed from when Flee did it, Flee was very strict and lost a TON of weight. My first month I was strict and lost 15 1lbs and 2 pant sizes, since then I have cheated and b/c of that I have either lost very slowly or none at all- but at least I havent gained.

I think the key is to do it EXACT to get the maximum results. substituting reg foods isnt the same, like some were getting frosted mini wheats to replace N/S frosted mini wheats, but if you look at their food, they have a mixture of different types of carbs with proteins that I believe help eachother breakdown the foods properly than the regular way we eat.

Also the salads watch what goes in them, no croutons, beans, the salad dressings amount, no corn, potatoes/yams/bread unless whole grain rolls as stated with the lunches. No crackers. for the womans menu NOTHING on that low glycemic chart should we be eating while on this program. that is for the men.

I def can see someone reaching thier goal with N/S the food I think is pretty good, def makes me feel better, more energy and I know that when I do reach my goal, N/S has taught me how portions are really suppose to be and how many fruits/diary and veggies I should be eating that I will maintain it unlike other diets have done b/c it has proved to me allready that I have cheated and have not gained a lb.

Dont worry we are all here to support eachother. I know its hard once you cheat to get back on full swing. Today is a new day.
good luck!!!Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: I lost NOTHING this week!

Sorry Jen Chat Icon
I've had quite a few weeks where I've stayed the same, and was perfect on the plan.. but then the following week, its like something would kick start my body and I would lose like 3 pounds or more..
(usually for us ladies, its our time of the month that can bloat us and you just don't loose..)

Its frustrating, but the key is to just try to stick to it, and you WILL see results... in fact, I'm sure you probbaly lost inches, just nothing showed up on the scale..

I was very strict in the beginning, and I only ate the N/S food (no substitutions) and I do think that helped me to lose a lot in the beginning..

GOOD LUCK and try not to get discouraged!! Chat Icon
