I am not a fan of diaper pails. The idea of 30 or so diapers(with poop) sitting in a pail is yucky to me. My cousin had the diaper genie and I smelled poop when I walked in the room all of the time. She then switched to the diaper decor and it smelled better. I am opting for ziplocs or powder scented diaper bags in the daily garbage.

I've got a diaper champ and have been happy with it. Since I live in an apartment building there isn't an opportunity to take out the trash daily, so having a good diaper pail matters!
One advantage of the diaper champ over the genie is that it uses regular kitchen trash bags, no need to buy special refills.
I've heard the dekor works well, I just didn't like the idea of the whole lid opening up and looking at all the contents each time there was a new diaper.

My cousin has a diaper pail and the rest of the family thinks it's groose... We plan to do what the rest of us did for many years, throw out each diaper individually into a grocery type bag in the regular trash and out it goes every night!

Thats what we did with baby#1...thats what we'll do with #2.
All these pails, especially the genie,seem like you're just creating a huge sausage of poop!
