Re: Diet friendly restaurants.........
I think that besides Applebees which makes food especially for WW, I can go anywhere and pick something that is weight friendly... I just have to change my lifestyle...
For instance, We are going to Laguna grille tonight for dinner, I will have a salad with grilled chicken and get the cheese on the side and will get whichever fat free or low fat dressing ont he side...
There is www.dwlz.com that had points and stuff for chain restaurants...
I Never deprive myself...If I want french fries I will have them but i won't eat all of them I will eat half...

Re: Diet friendly restaurants.........
I do that now, but I am just get annoyed at a few places I went to. I had a waitress get mad at me becuase I asked for a side salad very nicely instead of fries in a dinner and she was so nasty. I am also so sick of the same old stuff. Thanks for your help.

Honestly - I think a diner is a good place to go. They always have great salads with grilled chicken or cajun grilled chicken- all kinds of stuff. Its just hard to resist ordering a cheeseburger deluxe but egg white omelettes, so many options.

Re: Diet friendly restaurants.........
I went to the outback and got a diet friendly meal. It all depends on what you order and how you order it.
I got a salad with no croutons, no cheese and the low fat italian dressing on the side
I got Salmon Grilled no butter, steamed veggies and a sweat potato.
I was stuffed and felt great about my decisions after the meal Scott

Re: Diet friendly restaurants.........
Even some mexican....not so much the chains but the more authentic ones you can get some healthier grilled dishes like fajitas with maybe one pancake instead of the 2-3 they give.
Chinese also....steamed with sauce on side!

The Pump is a very good one. I only know of them to be located in city. They are super healthy with a large selection to choose from.

Some weight watchers locations have cafes right next to them - I know that the WW in Sayville on Main Street does.

Re: Diet friendly restaurants.........
Macaroni Grill has a few healthy options and they have wheat pasta.
You can also just order whatever it is you want on the menu, but the healthier way. Like I always tell them to steam the veggies instead of sautee it, hold the mayo, give me dressing/sour cream on the side, broil fish instead of grill it, etc.

Re: Diet friendly restaurants.........
I do pretty good with mexican places .. I ask with a faita with chiken or shirimp but ask them not to put any oil on it and skip the rice , only have 1 torilla and skip sour cream . Outback also - Chicken on the barbie then I asked for veggies without butter and sweet pototo plain . I dont have any shame about asking a resturnant to change a meal to make it healthier . I rather walk out of a resturant feeling good then guilty .

Re: Diet friendly restaurants.........
I agree with diners. I often will get a cup of a veggie based soup and a turkey burger (no cheese and I dont eat half the bun).
Italian I usually do fish. Sushi is a great option. Chinese--steamed chicken or shrimp, veggies some brown rice. Egg drop soup is 1 pt a cup. Greek a nice chicken salad--Tzaiki is only a cple pts for half a cup, go light on the feta and dressing
