We bought ours at Bellini along with the furniture - the mattress' are pretty standard (i think) - i didn't think twice about any particular crib mattress . I guess it all depends on whether your crib turns into a full size bed etc..... I would ask a salesperson at the store about the best mattres to fit your crib.

I dont really know how to go about choosing this either. we are going this weekend. I did hear that the firmer the better and more safe so I guess Ill go with that.

this is what we originally were going to get, and when we got to the store we saw a comparable one for 20-30 less and decided to buy it instead.
