Ideas needed for 2 yr old party
I know I'm ahead of the game since my son won't turn 2 till end of September but I'm interested in celebrating his b'day at a location (Please, no chuck e cheese) and not sure what places are nice for toddlers.
Any suggestions? TIA

Re: Ideas needed for 2 yr old party
What about White Post Farms? We were there a few weeks ago and they had 2 parties and the kids seemed to be having a blast.

I second White Post Farms. We went to a b-day party there and it was fantastic.

Re: Ideas needed for 2 yr old party
I went there for a party and it was lots of fun I don't know where you are looking at but here are a few other places I was looking at for my daughter http://www.woodkingdom.com/ I thought this was pretty good - kids run around, they do a magic show - very low stress for the parents - you are in your own room - with a gate at the door. There is a ball pit that you should watch your 2 year old as it's pretty deep. Good for all ages. Weekend $300 for 14 kids ($21.42/kid); Weedays $200 for 12 kids ($16.66/kid), $260 for 14 kids (18.57/kid) after 4pm
http://www.littlegym.com/ This went over very well. Kids run around on padded gym equipment. the gym was in great shape, very clean. I just called the one in Merrick - their prices are: $350/15 kids ($23.33/kid) max 25 children

We did Wood Kingdom (less expensive than White Post Farms).

how about build a bear or the science museum. the museum should be free to get into and they have alot of cool stuff for kids.

Re: Ideas needed for 2 yr old party
It's actually for Jayden's birthday not Krystal's so I need something more age appropriate. Build a bear will be cute for her....

Re: Ideas needed for 2 yr old party
I think Build a Bear is also a cute idea. This is what I wanted to do for my son's second birthday which was this past February, but I only gave notice a month in advance and they were booked up. If you do it there, just try to book in advance so you won't have any problems. Instead we had appetizers at Jillians and played games. Then went back to my moms house for dinner and cake.
