Thank you cards. (Grammar people please help).
(For people that gave us money at our eparty.)
Words cannot express the joy that we feel knowing that you shared our engagement celebration with us.
Thank you for your very generous gift. It was very much appreciated. (Can I personalize it a little more?)

Thank you for your very thoughtful gift. We love the candlesticks and can't wait to use it on our dining room table in our future home together.
Any mistakes? Any suggestions or criticism?

Re: Thank you cards. (Grammar people please help).
I'm confused...are you writing this out or having it printed on every card?? I am a firm beliver in writing a personalized thank you to each and every person...meaning that each note can be similar but slightly different.

"thank you so (or very) much for your generous gift! we will ________"
etiquette says that you should always tell them how you will use their gift.

writing them out. Wanted to know if my speling and grammar was correct. Also personalizing by stating what we will do with each gift and a special part of how we enjoyed each indivdual person at the party.

It should read: We love the candlesticks and we can't wait to use THEM on our dining room table.

Also-you are not supposed to use contractions in written correspondence.
