unfortunately yes .. =( it contains high levels of mercury.. so if you want to eat it, limit it to no more than 12 ounces of it a week. Moderation is key.

I ate one can a week, sometimes none, while I was pg. I live on Tuna, it was the one thing I missed the most. Since I usually eat 3 cans a week.

Link to some good info.
Albacore ("white") tuna has more mercury than canned light tuna.

I just read this morning that one 6oz serving per week is OK, but unless you're really craving it, I would avoid it.

I only ate it twice so far, and I don't think I will eat anymore until after the baby is here...

Thanks!! I haven't had any all pregnancy so far, but I am having a craving for it, so I will have a little bit for lunch and thats it. Thank you for your help!
