NBR: Know anyone who works for FDNY?
My FIL is a recently retired Battalion Chief and he's coming to NY for the first time in a week. He would love to do a "ride-along" for a day or get a behind-the-scenes look at the greatest fire department in the world.
He asked me to help him get in contact with somebody at FDNY but I'm having a terrible time trying to locate a firehouse or department number. The website and yellow pages don't give much. Can anyone help?
Please FM me if you can! Any help you can give me would be much appreciated!

I would try reposting this on the NFR board. There are several DHs that are firemen.
