Let's talk birthday presents for 2 year olds...
Hi everyone! I know there are a lot of other mommies that have little ones about to turn 2 or have just turned 2 and I'm looking for some good ideas for birthday presents.
DS will be 2 years old at the end of the month and DH and I are trying to decide on his "big" birthday present. Last year we got him the Laugh n Learn house and it has been worth its weight in gold! DS loved this and has used it all year long. We're hoping to find another toy that entertains him like this one did. Any suggestions?

I would opt for a playhouse. Something along these lines:
It's weatherproof, so you can throw it outside. He'll use it for awhile too.

Thanks for your suggestions ladies!
I LOVE that someone else recommended a playhouse. I brought up the playhouse idea to my DH last night and he was complaining that it would take up too much space in the basement and there would be no room for other toys, etc. (so not true).
NOW if I suggested a pool table he'd be telling me that there was PLENTY of room for it!

I sell Discovery Toys and I would suggest their playhouse. It has a puppet theater, grocery store & post office. It folds up so you can have the room in your basement. Image Attachment(s):

My daughter got a kitchen which is a nice gift for either a boy or a girl, although some people wouldnt want to get it for a boy. My 4 year old son likes to play with it too. My son got a train table when he was 2.
