I have no idea about the wives tale, but I carried high in both pregnancies because my babies were breech for so long, and my first was a boy and this one is a girl.

i think the wives tale is high for girl, low for boy...
but i am one low basketball and having a  (or so they say!  )

Well, I don't really believe in any of those wivestales because my little girl hasn't moved up past my belly button once in 32 weeks! She's totally hanging out low. I call myself the baby hammock!

I was carrying high my whole pg, but out in front like a basketball. So the two wives tales kind of crossed for me.
