Cut off my legs please!

I cannot take the itching anymore! I haven't slept thru the night in about 4 days. Both legs, top to bottom are covered in itchy red bumps. This has got to be a PG thing :(
going to dermatologist tomorrow - same day as 12 week OB appt.
just had to complain

Re: Cut off my legs please!

Do you sleep with PJ bottoms on?
I noticed that when I was - my legs were getting sooooo itchy, I changed to shorts - and I never had the problem again.
I think my legs were getting too warm.

I am so sorry but I no nothing about Pupps besides that it is an extremely itchy red rash that some women experience during pregnancy.

Have far along are you? I heard that itching is a sign of HELLP Syndrome but that usually occurs after 6 months. It is very uncommon, but my friend got it and had to deliver early (all was well with baby), but her first sign was really bad itching on her arm and legs. I would check with your OB.

I was EXTREMELY itchy in the first trimester too - you probably have nothing to worry about - are you fair skinned? I am and they say fair skinned pregnant women tend to be more sensitive with this type of thing. My husband would just continually laugh at me b/c I looked so insane - I couldn't handle the itching! I did find that sleeping with less clothes helped at night.........and they have some Gold Bond moisturizers that help the itching a little.

I thought PUPPS started in the third trimester. You should FM princessmaris - she has lots of itching experience - and could definitely give you good tips.
