girls who delivered at SOUTHSIDE..PLEASE HELP
im freaking out..im 37 weeks pg..and didnt take lamaze..and i dont plan on it..dh has absolutely NO time whatsoever..but i did rent 2 videos on labor and delivery and watch them..i make dh watch some too..the thing is i keep hearing mixed things about southside...apparently dh cant be in the room with you if we didnt take a lamaze course??? has anyone delivered there without taking one.? or if you did..do they really ask you for a certificate saying you took a course? im freaking out..i called the hospital and they said its the policy but im sure they have to tell everyone that anyway i cant see them not letting dh in the room with me..IM SO SCARED..thanks for your help!!

There are lamaze coaches that do one-on-one classes. Perhaps you still have time to take the class.

We did the classes and I had wound up having a c-section. I honestly dont think its a big deal since they never told us otherwise about not taking the class means he can't be in there. I think that is a stupid rule anyway. No one ever mentioned that we needed to take them.. we just did. I dont think they will give you a hard time.. no one on here has EVER posted that DH wasnt allowed in because they didnt take the class.

yea i guess you are right..i just have people scaring me thats all..ive been watching videos on labor and delivery so i am def aware of what to expect but im going to try not to worry about it..thanks!!
